In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
It is always a little intimidating to put yourself out into the Limelight. You have to be concerned about the responses that may come. People can misunderstand you and take what you mean out of context. Humans have a tendency to hurt each other. This is just a blog I tell myself. No reason to get excited. Confused about what I need to say.
As a Muslim I see what is going on with the epic struggle between those who believe in the One True God and those that worship Idols. Trying to understand your place in the universe and figure out what God has planned for you is a life long Jihad.
As we look around and see the state of things around us, There's too Much Confusion. War and destruction all around with no ends in sight. Trying so hard to make a difference. I can't get no relief.
So go ahead and take a chance. Express yourself, and expose yourself for what you truly believe. This is life and this is what the struggle is all about. There are many here among us who feel that life is but a joke. This is just a blog, not always to be taken seriously.
Many feel that the Jihad between the Idol worshipers and the Believers in the One True God can never end in peace but always through violence and terrorism. But you and I, we've been through that, and this is not our fate. By the very fact that we are here and communicating in this way, can be a sign of change.
If we are to solve the problems and make the situation better we have to learn to get along. We must communicate and understand each other. So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late.
It is time for each of us to take a step and make an effort to do what we must to make the world a better place. Tired of siting quiet and sheltered, but you must be cautious. Outside in the distance,Two riders were approaching.
What do you write your first blog entry about? It should be something that expresses your unique character while still being something your audience can relate to. Something that shows that we Humans are not so different after all. Who knows where the road leads? Hopefully, this is just the first step into many new experiences in the Blogosphere.
The journey has begun, the doors have been opened and the wind began to howl.
I'm talking about the greatest show on TV right now, by far. Yes it is...Battlestar Galactica.
If you think that Battlestar Galactica is some silly sci-fi show about little ships flying in space, you are sorely mistaken. I have been watching the show since the original mini-series aired and have been loving it ever since. However, the recently aired season 3 two part finale titled "Crossroads" was so well made and deeply penetrating that I literally felt compelled to write.
The use of the Lyrics of "All Along The Watchtower" written by Bob Dylan and made famous by Jimi Hendrix, interwoven throughout this episode was hauntingly mesmerizing yet strangely thrilling.
If you are not watching the New Battlestar Galactica on Sci-Fi Channel, you really are missing out on something incredible. Anyone who watches the show understands what I am talking about.
Believe me.
SO SAY WE ALL !
